Sway ePortfolio: Getting Started

What is Microsoft Sway?

Sway, which is part of Microsoft Office 365, is designed for creating presentations, reports and more. It is an easy-to-use digital story telling tool used for creating interactive reports, presentations and ePortfolios. Mohawk students have access to Sway using their free Office 365 account. 

Access Sway from eLearn

  1. Log in to eLearn

  2. Select the Outlook or OneDrive icon from the Office 365 widget.
    Don't see the widget? Follow the instructions to activate your Office 365 Widget

    Student Office 365 Widget found in eLearn. Students can access email, calendar and OneDrive.
     
  3. In the top left-hand corner, select the app launcher.

    Once in Outlook Online or OneDrive, you will find the app launcher in the top left corner.
     
  4. From the app launcher, select Sway. 

 When you select the app launcher, a list of all the available Office 365 apps will appear. Choose Sway.

Sway Online

Access and edit your Sways from the Sway website. 

Sign in is a two step process:

  1. Enter your Mohawk email. This will bring you to the single sign on.
  2. Enter your student number and password. 

Sway for Windows 10

You can access and edit your Sways from your Windows 10 device - PCs or Windows Tablet. Download the app from the Windows Store:
