Intro

We've started this site to give educators a chance to explore and play on their own terms and time. You'll will be introduced to a variety of web 2.0 tools that your students are most likely already using and would complement your teaching and learning.

Work at your own pace and explore the tools in which you are most interested. There will be guides on the side - people who have already integrated these tools and those who may just be a step or two ahead of you. You will also have the opportunity to mentor other educational explorers and they join and experiment.

We've highlighted the tools we're familiar with and presented them in the most user-friendly way we know. Feel free to add your own modules or tools as you discover them. Whether your a lurker or an active engager, the site can accommodate. You could go off and complete the background and activities on your own, but we encourage you to participate in the many modes of collaboration available to you.

What is Web 2.0? And Why You Should Care.

Here is a five minute overview, addressing the relevance of Web 2.0 to educators. Five minutes well spent for a basic grounding.
